I'm Chutaia Brown, the heart and soul behind Diamond, No Rough. Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. I've felt and experienced the frustration of not fitting the beauty mold and know how it feels to think you have to spend a fortune to look good. My journey into beauty began as just a way to uplift myself and through self-taught makeovers, hair-styling and nail services, I found my passion. Now I want to share that same spark with every woman that feels less than beautiful. 

About Diamond, No Rough 

The name Diamond, No Rough came from my journey battling my self-esteem issues. Once I realized my beauty potential, I realized I was a a Diamond, nothing rough about it, hence the name Diamond, No Rough.

Here at Diamond, No Rough, the mission is simple: to empower women to embrace their unique beauty without the hefty price tag. I believe that every diva deserves to feel fabulous, and I'm here to make it happen, one beauty service at a time.
